International Faculty Events
The Office of International Engagement invites faculty to participate in events focused on strengthening the relationship between OIE and faculty partners. These events include International Faculty Cafés and Faculty Seminars that provide opportunities for networking, collaboration, and practical guidance on designing and implementing international experiences for students.
Through participation in these events, faculty will be able to gain insight into global teaching and learning practices, explore international partnership opportunities, and connect with campus resources that support faculty-led international initiatives and study abroad development.
Series Goals
As a result of participating, attendees will be able to…
- Reflect on intercultural perspectives and cultural considerations that inform effective global teaching, collaboration, and internationally engaged work
- Discuss key international issues, faculty-led study abroad models, and international partnership programs, and explain their relevance to global learning and campus internationalization
- Identify practical steps, campus resources, and partnerships for developing and/or participating in faculty-led study abroad programs and international initiatives on campus
- Apply global learning principles to teaching, curriculum design, and faculty engagement in international programming and partnerships

Zero Waste Event
- All events are free to attend.
- In partnership with ISU Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality and the Office of Sustainability, our goal is to make this a zero waste series.
