What is ISU-GLOBAL-L?

ISU-GLOBAL-L is a moderated e-mail listserv coordinated by the Office of International Studies and Programs at Illinois State University. There is no cost to subscribe and membership is open to ISU students, faculty, and staff members as well as members of the Bloomington-Normal community and global scholars. Subscribers receive all approved messages posted through the listserv.

What's the purpose of ISU-GLOBAL-L?

The ISU-GLOBAL-L listerv provides a coordinated communication network to help spread awareness about the different globalization and international education activities taking place throughout the ISU community. These activities range in scope and specificity from poster presentations and small-scale training workshops to cross-campus expos and international fairs.

How do I subscribe?

Simply send an e-mail message to listserv@ilstu.edu. Leave the subject line empty and either turn off your automatic signature or put two dashes (i.e., - - ) just in front of your automatic signature. The body of the message should read:

SUBSCRIBE ISU-GLOBAL-L Your Real Name

So for example:

SUBSCRIBE ISU-GLOBAL-L Sam Smith

Please do not put anything else in the body of the message.

How do I post messages?

To post a message to ISU-GLOBAL-L, simply address the message to ISU-GLOBAL-L@ilstu.edu.

How do I unsubscribe?

To unsubscribe, send an e-mail message to listserv@ilstu.edu. Leave the subject line empty and either turn off your automatic signature or put two dashes (i.e., - - ) just in front of your automatic signature. The body of the message should read:
