Pre-Arrival Information
New international students admitted for the Fall 2026 term will begin to receive pre-arrival information starting in late May. This information will include instructions for how to activate their University Log-In ID (ULID) and set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on their devices.
Once this is complete, students will be able to access the ISSS Student Portal. The International Student Orientation Team will be using the ISSS Student Portal as a platform to deliver important pre-arrival information as students prepare to come to ISU.
Additionally, new students are recommended to attend a series of Pre-Arrival Zoom Webinars offered throughout the summer. These webinars, presented by staff from different offices and units throughout the institution, are intended to provide students with in-depth information on important subjects, such as immunization requirements and connecting with an academic advisor.
