Pre-Arrival Information

New international and domestic grad students admitted for the Fall 2026 term will begin to receive pre-arrival information starting in late May. This information will include instructions for activating their University Log-In ID (ULID) and setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on their devices.

Once this is complete, students will be directed to their appropriate pre-arrival platform. New international students will access the ISSS Student Portal, where the International Student Orientation Team will share important pre-arrival information and resources. New graduate students will access a dedicated Canvas page with graduate orientation materials. Other new students will receive information through their designated university onboarding platforms.

Additionally, all new students are encouraged to attend a series of Pre-Arrival Zoom Webinars offered throughout the summer. These sessions, presented by staff from various offices and units across the university, provide in-depth guidance on key topics such as immunization requirements, academic advising, and other essential steps for a successful transition to ISU.
