The International Student Ambassador program is designed for current international students at Illinois State University to serve as representatives for their particular home countries and cultures. International Student Ambassadors act as a resource for ISU faculty, staff, and registered student organizations to educate the campus community about these countries and cultures and to promote intercultural understanding and cooperation.
Participation in the program is voluntary and the time commitment is flexible based on availability and requests. All interested students must submit a short application.
Faculty, staff, and registered student organizations may request an ambassador to come in and speak, present, or be involved in a cultural event/activity as needed.
